プリマタンジュンから山側を通りタンジュンブンガへ
抜けるくね道にて、今朝
倒れた木が車の上に倒れた、
事故後すぐに消防署そして警察に現場に駆け付けた交通止めとなった。
運転手の怪我の状況はわかっていないが、
運転手は、教師で仕事へ向かう途中だったようだ。
当面は道路は閉鎖される予定、
その為今朝は、タンジュンブンガ周辺の道が大混雑する事態となった。
GEORGE TOWN: A fallen tree hit a car at the Vale of Tempe road in Penang and caused a traffic standstill on Friday morning (April 26).
State Works Committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari said the car belonged to a teacher who was on his way to work.
“We received a report just before 7am and immediately despatched Penang Island City Council (MBPP), the Fire and Rescue Department and the police to the scene.
“The road is closed for the time being and traffic is being diverted to other roads.
“We are now waiting for TNB to fix their cables before we can allow traffic through,” he said when contacted.
